Can't add Sender email I'm getting error "You've reached the daily email test limit"

    Hello - when trying to create a "Sender Email" in settings, after saving the email nothing happens. Can you please help me rectify?

    Hi Robert,

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Can you provide us with a screenshot after following the steps below so we can have a better understanding of the issue?

    1. Click on Your Avatar on the top-right side of your screen.
    2. In the menu that opens, click on Settings.
    3. In the menu on the left side of your screen, make sure that you're seeing the Settings.
    4. Click on Add Sender Email on the right side of Sender Emails.
    5. In the menu that opens, fill in the necessary information.
    6. Then, click on Send Test Email.

    Please see attached.

    this is the error I have received since yesterday, and prior to that all settings were confirmed as well as password carefully entered and the email would not add.

    Hi Robert,

    Thanks for the screenshots. I understand things much better now. Please note that there is a daily limit on the test email. For paid accounts, you are allowed to send 100 notifications. If you have exceeded this number of emails, then you will need to wait 24 hours before being able to send more. To review your email history logs, please follow the steps below:

    1. Hover on your avatar at the top right-hand corner.
    2. Click on Settings to open the Settings page.

    3. Go to the History tab.
    4. Set your desired date range.
    5. Filter the actions by Emails.

    Hello and thank you for clarifying, but unfortunately that does not help answer the original question. When trying to create/add a new email after I click "add email" in the previous screenshot, the email does not add to the account.

    Hi Robert,

    Thanks for getting back to us. We have a rule which limits the number of emails to be sent out. This is to avoid spammers using our service. For free accounts, we allow 20 email notifications to be sent out per hour. and for paid accounts, they are allowed to send 100 notifications.

    If you need to email the form to more addresses, I would recommend sending the emails directly from your email account/address.

    Thank you and understood on the email limit. the concern is not on limitations of the email, it's the inability to add another "Sender Email".

    Here are the steps taken:

    1. click Avatar
    2. click 'Settings'
    3. next to "Sender Email", click 'Edit', then 'Add Sender Email'
    4. entered appropriate info for desired email account
    5. Click 'Add Email'

    Expected Result: Email added and available in 'Sender Emails'

    Actual Result: Email not available in 'Sender Emails' and no error thrown


    Please advise.

    Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Is the sender email you're trying to use linked to a Google Workspace account? If so, you'll need to ensure that 2-Step Verification is enabled in your Google account. Also check out our guide on this page on how to use your Gmail as your Sender Email via SMTP.
