My New Form Is Stuck in "Assigned to Me"

Could I get help moving my form from Assigned Forms to actually be in "My Forms"? I used the create form, then used a template, and it is only showing in my Assigned Forms. I need to be able to move it into a shared folder so others in my organization can view submissions for it. I googled it and saw another user with the same problem, the form belonged to a different account. But I have only ever had one jotform account so I'm not sure how mine belongs to another account, especially since I created it. Is that a side effect of using templates?

    Hi Alisha,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I checked this account and I am seeing no form created yet. I also checked this form and it shows that it actually belongs to a different account, this form belongs to we**a**er@sam***ish.us. Building forms from our templates should not cause this issue.

Reach out again if you need any more help.

Is it possible to move the form to my account? I do not have access to that email nor have I ever used that email. I really have no idea how it belongs to another account when I clicked create form while logged into my own account. Will I even be able to remake the form, will all of my forms I create belong to this other account I have no access to?

When I cloned it the copy went into my folder so at least I don't have to remake it from scratch. But it is very confusing how a form I made belongs to some other account, that doesn't make sense. Especially one I've never had access to.

    Hi Alisha,

We apologize for the inconvenience. I investigated this and I found that your account (Alisha_aparks) is actually a sub-user of the main account/username sammamish. The form you created originally must have been moved to the main account since you're the sub user on that account. This was the reason the form now belongs to the main account.

If you want to move the form to your account, you will need to ask this to the main account holder since they are the owner of the form.

Please let us know if you need further assistance.
