I'm trying to add a new field with five days apart from the creation date and I'm not getting, could tell me what I'm doing wrong?

    This message always appears:

"If output is datetime field, source must also be."

Based on the error and what you have described, it seems that you are trying to pass the date to another date field.

Unfortunately that is not possible, you could only pass it as a text to a textbox.

If you can give us a bit more details on what you would like to accomplish we might be able to give you an alternative option, but would require more details.

    Best Regards,

    Hi Ben!

Sorry for the lack of explanation.

I need a field that appears to be automatically filled with 5 days of the date that difference was filled in the form.

    Example Form:

    Date of Request: December 27

Completion Date: January 1 (5 days later)

You could put a screen shot of an example ?! I know it's stupid to ask this but I've tried in many ways followed the examples forum but I could not do any work. (It's shameful to admit it) -.- "

    Hello suportezapsul,

To be able to help you further, can you provide us the form that you're working on?

Please do take note that currently the output can be handled by regular text boxes. So if you're trying to set your output on to a date field, I don't think that can be possible. However, to be certain, I've submitted a ticket so that the developer in charge may verify this case.

Please do let us keep us posted as well.

I'm doing the same and I have instead of the current +5 days later, like for instance:

    Current date: 03 - 17 - 2015

    Date returned: 11-20-1899

Note: the calculation is very simple:  current date + 5 days, insert in a datetime field.

    Can you help please asap
