2 questions I hope you can help

How can I mix input types in the same matrix? For example, I want column 1 to be a dropdown and column 2 to be text.

Some entries may require 2 rows worth of information for a registration form. Can I gray out/eliminate an entry field? For example, I need people to register for duet dance performances. Each entry will contain 2 rows to allow  them to submit both performer's names. However, on the second row, I don't want them to have to select the division the performance will be in since it should apply to the entire entry.

Thanks in advance for your help!

To mix 2 input types on the same row is to shrink it, Here's how:

Put your dropdown tool on the edit form and beside the red "X" button of that form tool, you will see a gear icon. Click it and select shrink. Now do the same with the textarea tool and shrink it and you will have 2 form tools in a row.

I also would like you to check on the Conditions Wizard regarding your other concern:

    Heres a link: http://www.jotform.com/help/57-Conditional-Logic-on-Forms

    Thanks hope that helps.

    Hi there,

If your having trouble on shrinking elements, then here is a simple guide for that:

    1. Open the form in JotForm

    2. Select the form you wish to edit

    3. Click on the properties of the question field

    4. Select Shrink.

Another faster way to shrink a field is by simply doing a right click on
    and select Shrink.

    Hope this helps.
