This option that you're looking for where the edited submission will not send you another email notification is not available at the moment.
I will submit a ticket to our development team and let them have this added to their feature to-do list. Unfortunately, I cannot provide you a lead time to when this feature will be implemented. But when it is, we'll let you know immediately.

Setup a filter on your email so that if there is an "EDIT:" text on the subject of the email, your email software will simply delete the email. That's the only solution I can think of.
This feature is asked a lot. We did not have it before and people have asked for it like crazy. So, we will not disable it.

it doesnt need to be disabled and for a co-founder you could of wrote a friendlier reply. it would be nice if i had the option to disable the feature. if you add a feature why add it so its permanent? the user should have the option to use the feature or not.

If I'm not mistaken, the browser used is IE when this thing happens. I already have submitted a ticket to the development team regarding this incident. It will be fixed soon. But if you wish to be posted regarding this bug, may I recommend that you create a new thread so that I can create a new ticket and for the team to keep you posted once this bug is fixed.
It would also be great if you can share your observations with how this is happening so that our development team can figure this issue out faster.
