How come my forms aren't showing up on my website?

Asked by vaporsky on October 03, 2011 at 11:52 PM

We have been using one of your contact forms and an upload form also. They both are currently not displaying on our website. I have updated the source code, just in case, and that still has not solved the problem. They were working/appearing at some point today, because I have received submissions today. But now they are not there and I have people trying to place orders, but are unable to upload the audio, so they are not completing the order.

Please respond immediately, as this is a very urgent matter.

Also, when someone sends an email through our contact form, it is not being sent through to our email address.

    Thank you!

For upload field visit http://vaporsky.com/buyresonant/ and click on "2 size/audio."

It appears this may have been an issue of exceeding limits of a free account. I upgraded the account and now the two forms are appearing on the website. I am investigating settings to see why emails are not coming through.

    Thank you!

Yes, I received the email notification. However, I do not like the notification. Is there no way that I get the email to an email address I specify, as if when they hit send they are sending it directly to my email address, rather than to a "box" here on JotForm? That way all I have to do is hit "reply" to send an email back to them. With the notification email, I have to copy and paste their email out to respond (as well as their message, so they have something to refer back to).

I'm positive it was set up and working this way when we first started using the form a couple of months ago.

Can you also check your email if you have received my test submission? Because I found out that you had mistakenly type your email, instead of .com , you typed ".cmo" . Thank you!

Am I supposed to get a notification email from "JotForm" when someone uses my form, if I have a notification email set up for that form, as well as the email from the sender to my account email address?

I'm getting the notifications, but I want to be able to receive emails from my contact form that appear that they are coming from the sender, not JotForm. Is this possible?

Yes! you should receieved notification's to your email "info@vaporsky.com".  Can you also check your spam folder if there are new entry from JotForm? Also I would like you to whitelist our new IP addresses to avoid spam filters and low email delivery rates in the future.

Nope. My notifications from my contact page are still going to "technical@vaporsky.com" and not "info@vaporsky.com" like they are with my upload form.

Also, my upload form, once the file has been uploaded and the "thank you" (or custom "file uploaded") message pops up, it is causing my "add to cart" button to no longer be clickable, which means my customers are unable to complete the order. I suspect it is some sort of spatial thing that's causing the form to somehow "overlap" by button, thus rendering it inoperable. It may have cost me over 40 sales, so any help you can give me to get it fixed is greatly needed.

    Hello

As per reported by the logs

    [1;32mSent[1;37m email to info@vaporsky.com - MessageID:00000132cd89586e-da8f7a64-706e-4412-b105-d661cb5f01ca-000000/d7f34946-ee4e-11e0-bf61-df94c370c745

this explains that the submission was sent to your email "info@vaporsky.com". Please response here again if the test notification wasn't sent.

Also, regarding to your second problem, would you mind if you post the link that contains JotForm? Thank you.

The test notification is being sent, however it is still being sent to "technical@vaporsky.com" when submitting through the contact form at this link: http://vaporsky.com/contact/

The second problem is the same link as the audio upload http://vaporsky.com/buyresonant/ and then click on "2 Size/Audio".

That last email you sent is still going to technical@vaporsky.com and not info@vaporsky.com.

However, I am getting the emails, one way or the other. The more pressing matter is why your form is causing my "add to cart" button to not work after the upload completes. This is causing me to lose sales (i.e. profit), and is therefore the most pressing matter. Needless to say, if it is strictly your form that is causing me to lose out on these sales, I will be extremely unhappy.

    Hello,

    Sorry for the inconvenience.

As i have tested your upload form, it covers your "add to cart" button after uploading. In this case, you may try decreasing your form height or iframe height lower than you have currently used.

Let us know if this solves the issue. We'll wait for your response.

Can you tell me what is the shortest dimensions I can set the height to, so that the form still displays properly?

I still do not understand how the form gets taller after the audio has been submitted. There is less content there than when the form is open for input. Once the upload is complete, there is only a single line of text. I do not understand how the height of the form changes so greatly between the two processes, that it covers the "add to cart" button after upload.
