How to position 3 check box questions in one line?Asked by guineapigme on December 30, 2014 at 10:54 PMI would be happy to use the simple checkbox widgets but also would like 3 of these to fit on a line.
If I delete the existing widgets and reinsert the simple checkbox lists (3 of them), will the existing CSS code still provide for them to fit on one line? I tried cloning my form to check but it did not seem to impact the widgets. i was left with my old issue, 2 on one line and the other on the next.
Please advise, I would like to have use the simple checkboxes as a workaround for the gift registry bug, which I was only using a checklist because the original checklist had too wordy an output in the submission form. I am assuming that the simple checklist output will be just a list of the checked items (which is all I wanted in the first place).
To place 3 check box questions in one single line, you can simply take advantage of our "Shrink" feature and place them next to each other. The following guide should help you: https://www.jotform.com/help/90-Form-Field-Positioning
You can also inject custom css code in your form to further customize the fields width.
Please take a look at the following cloned form and see if this is what you wanted to achieve: http://form.jotformpro.com/form/43642621441953?
This cloned form, displays the widget as well as the check box questions. Both of the are displayed in a single line. You can clone this form and then delete the one which you do not want to retain. Please check the screenshot below:
