Adding the Google autocomplete for Google address and Google PlacesAsked by 408babbu on December 31, 2014 at 04:18 AM
I see you have some good options but as I can see I do not see a box with will autocomplete Google places, I am able to see it happen for address but It would be really helpfull if there a box for auto completion for both places and address. Please let me know if that is is possible.
I see that you have tried our Autocompleted Address widget and our GeoComplete widgets. What I would suggest is to take a look at our other similar widgets to see if some of them would allow you to accomplish what you are after: Mapping widgets.
If not do let us know if I have understood you correctly, that you would like to allow the user to select not only the address but Google Places as well in your jotform?
If so do let us know and we will raise this to our developers as a feature request. As we can not guarantee that this would be added as a feature, I would still suggest going through the rest of the widgets and see if some of them would allow you to accomplish what you are after.
For example you could get their approximate GPS location.
yes the option is there but it is in a map field with current location
since I am Taxi Fleet I was looking for just an address and Google places
search box. There is an address search box but it dose not populate google
places such as a restaurant or hotels located in the area. I am in Bay Area
and we have 100 taxi and several people like the option to search a place
and an address via Google search box auto complete. It would be great if
you could you please make this happen, as soon as its done I will sign up
with your pro version account. I think your developers should be able to do
it with few changes since the widget "GPS location" dose work but it keeps
showing the map and location which is really confusing to the customer,
however this widget dose do the full search what I am looking for. So if
you could please somehow create just a search box by it self which will not
show map nor the gps location. I hope this help if you would like to talk
to me for few min I wouldn't mind you guys calling me at 408-799-6396.
Thank you very much!!
I apologize do for the late response, but due to the issue on our server, no email responses were accepted until now.
Following up on the thread I see that this was related to the Google Places and addresses, but can you please let us know if I am correct on the following:
You would like to add Google Places search to the widget called Address Map Locator?
So I am looking for a address field which search both address a d Google places. For example: I type in the address 123 main street NY ..the field should drop down and suggest the rest of the addressee and if I was to put in in marriot new York city it should suggest the full address. I see that your http://tireride.com.zagace.info the form which jot form has provided dose what I need but there are extra stuff shwoing which I don't need. I only need the search box only. I hope this helps . I will highly appreciate your help I been trying to figure this out for a while.
Do let us know if you need further assistance.
