Is there a way to use recurring payments with Paypal Standard account?

I am getting this problem Paypal say that  you have to upgrade to there merchant Pro ( I presently have Standard Merchant Account with Recurring Payment .. 

Their Merchant Pro Account Usually Have Credit Checks and cost more 

Is there Any way to use this with their Stander account which does accepts Recurring Payments

"Direct Payment Recurring Payments" is only applicable to Paypal Pro and not for Standar Paypal accounts.

Is this the issue you were having? Please correct if not.

I also searched Paypal and it seems they have new service for Standard Paypal accounts called Enhanced Recurring Payments for PayPal Payments Standard

Perhaps you can make use of this option on your Standard Paypal account also.
