Problems using special characters eg. < >

Asked by kpnpackaging on August 11, 2010 at 12:48 AM

    Hello,

When using special characters like < (or using code <) in a "Free Text" box or in a label, this character is not displayed or not correctly displayed.

    e.g.

add new 'Text Box' -> enter text <my text>-> enter

result: text not displayed, when editing again strange code appears

    e.g.

add new 'Free Text' -> Edit HTML -> enter text <my text> -> Complete

    result: text disapears

    e.g.

add new 'Free Text' -> Edit HTML -> HTML (code mode) -> enter text <my text>-> Update -> Complete

    result: text disapeears

I guess, using <>, the text inside is treat as html code instead of the characters.

Hopefully you can look at this problem showing those <> characters.

    Regards,

    Walter Kamer
