How to use conditions for complex show and hide fields on our jotform?

    Hello!

We're trying to create an extensive form with JotForm, so, basically, the issue is arising when we try to hide/show multiple elements all the way down the form. The main problem arises when you reveal section 'Fire Loss' then do section 2 'Vehicle Fire', then go back to section 1 and check 'Other,' and the options for 'Vehicle Fire' still remain visible. We've tried a great deal of tweaking the conditions to hide those fields when another is checked, but it contains so many variables, that you can't exactly list them by priority. If you know any arrangement of conditions, or another workaround for this, that would be extremely helpful!

    Hi Samuel,

I believe that you would like to achieve something like this: http://form.jotformpro.com/form/50016981006952

    - It is a clone of your jotform with a small adjustment that allows you to have less conditions and to make finer tuning of the ones that are left.

What I did is used Form Collapse tools to group the fields together and then jut use conditions to shown one of them.

You can see more on how to do this here: Show or Hide multiple fields at once using form collapse tool

In case you would like to clone the jotform to your account and take a closer look, please take a look at the steps here: How to Clone an Existing Form from a URL

Do let us know if you have any further questions.

In case you are used to responding through email, I would advise to come to this thread instead as at the moment our maintenance team is working on a part of our system, which could lead to us not receiving your response sent over email. This is the link to your thread: http://www.jotform.com/answers/489738

    Best Regards,
    Ben
