I want to create a direct debit subscription form which redirects to the "Gocardless" site and returns to submit the form to Jotform.
Gocardless provide a link to various "Plans" which allow the form user to register for the Direct Debit system and then be placed on a pre-set up Direct Debit.
Ideally the URL link would be activated by selecting a button - one for each Plan
After the user completes the necessary authorisation they would be redirected to a "Thankyou" page and the form submitted as complete.

May we inquire for more details about the "Gocardless" site you mentioned?
Can you share to us the URL of the website where we can check more about it.
On my search you could be referring to this https://gocardless.com/
I think it is an online payment system also. Unfortunately we currently do not have existing integration with Gocardless.com at this time.
You can check jotform existing Payment Integrations on this page.
We will wait for your updated response.

You are correct with the URL. Gocardless are a fairly new UK Direct Debits bureau and claim "GoCardless is the UK’s leading Direct Debit provider. We collect more than half a billion pounds each year for over 30,000 businesses and organisations including Greater Anglia Trains, Crowdcube and Funding Circle, with year-on-year growth of 600%."
We already use JotForm/PayPal to take credit card payments on our Membership pages but now wish to add Direct Debits. Gocardless provide a completely online direct debit mandate and payment manager. They provide links which can be emailed to prospective members or embedded in a form button. They also provide a REST API but that is beyond our expertise. The only fees are a 1% transaction charge.
Thanks for your help

Thank you for sharing the details with us.
Let me create a feature request ticket and send it to our back end team. Please be noted that creating a feature request does not ensure you that it will implemented. It depends upon the feasibility and priority of our back end team. We will get back to you as soon as we have any update from them.

Like Don I would like to use gocardless for subscriptions, it is cheaper than paypal and its competitors and it will allow a direct debit based on varying amounts. I have had to set up an impossibly complex form to take different payments via paypal this year.
I need a solution to a subscription based on a variable payment. I had to create 6 forms with three variations in each and direct them to a url on submit. This meant that the data was held in two different forms when I download it.
Your option of embedding different payment forms with the widget for different paymends did not work for me as it either submitted the form details without the payment or just the embedded form details.
Go cardless appears to be a solution as Don describes and I would urge you to include this in your payment options.

This never is going to be inplemented because gocardless is a UK payment gateway and jotform is much more worry for the amarican market. I asked for this more than 1 year ago, the same pomises as always but anything else.

I have found a solution as I suspect that we will not be able to integrate two payment gateways and gocardless do not have a card payment option and I need both.
You can upload the details from Jotform to go cardless to take the payment as mass upload as long as people have completed the online direct debit mandate. I think this will work better for me as I can then link the payment to their details and take variable payments.
Just a suggestion as I also need to retain paypal.

I would love a GoCardless integration as well, all of our customers use it and integration with Jotform would be great. Would be a reason for us to use Jotform more and upgrade to a paid plan.

Based on the details that I can see, there is not much that I can tell you and that my colleagues did not mention so far.
My colleague Ashwin had raised this as a new feature request, but this did not get into the shortlisted few features.
Next to this JotForm is currently going through mayor facelift, and you have probably already seen changes in conditions, widgets, integrations and in few other places and as such this has a very low priority - to be considered.
Having said that, it means that this might not be implemented any time soon, or even not be implemented at all, but if it gets implemented, our developers will post an update about it on this thread.
