Is the feature "Password protected" no longer available?

    Hi Jotform,

I would like to inquire on how do I set up a password for my form. It basically means so users will be able to enter the generated key before viewing the form. Not to obtain password information from them in the form.

    Hi,

You could do this yourself as long as you are not requesting a password (as you have mentioned above), but to do that you would need to ask for a confirmation code, or authorization code and something to that liking.

The reason for this is because 'password' field can not be found on the jotform as it is against our terms of use.

Having that said, you can add the authorization field that would be checked through conditions to see if the code added is correctly placed in and if it is to show the submit button, or the button to next page, or anything of your preference.

I would suggest taking a look at these guides:

    Smart Forms Using Conditional Logic

Show or Hide multiple fields at once using form collapse tool

If you have any further questions do let us know and we would be happy to help.

    Best Regards,
    Ben
