What sort of information is stored in stripe when a payment is made?Asked by robinowsley on January 05, 2015 at 11:54 AM2. If I create a payment form inside jotform with the Stripe widget, does information submitted then move entirely to the Stripe side? Or would some chunk of info indicating that a submission took place remain within my jotform account as well? I know I could experiment and find this out, but I'm trying to decide if I even want to do that with more info at my disposal, so more would be appreciated.
I see you're curious to know about what sort of information gets sent and stored by Stripe.
Only some of the information related to the product and payment is stored within Stripe such as Name, Email, and Product. This is mainly dependent upon what fields you have on your jotform although not all of the information would be sent there. Whereas most of your main information that is not associated with it would only show in the submission itself.
