I have a live form on my website and I have successfully updated fields in the form. However,
the timestamp is no longer being updated as shown in the pdf link although I see the other fields updated.
I have not noticed this until today.
My expectations are that every time I submit the form, the timestamp field will show the submission time. Is that not correct?
If you experiment with the form to debug, can you do it in a way that doesn't permanently change the data? This form is in active use.

And here it is in the website - but I would appreciate you not changing any of the data. If there is a standard way of debugging something live on a site (duplicate or something) please let me know so I can set up a debug vehicle without ruining my persistent data on this site.

Thank you for contacting us for support. I am more than happy to help out. No need to worry, we won't make any changes to your live form, instead we clone your forms and make changes there to demonstrate how you can fix the problem.
I have analyzed your two notification settings and I am not seeing the time stamp field being used. If you would like to include the time stamp in any of the notification email please follow the instructions below. I will be using Notifier 1 to demonstrate this.
If you like, you can even place the time stamp in a sentence. All you have to do is place the cursor were you would like the information to be and click on the field in the menu. I hope this helps. Feel free to contact us if further support is needed.

For some reason, I thought I posted a reply here, but it is gone.
I don't think I have explained the issue properly.
I am talking in particular about the PDF report generated upon submission that includes the timestamp link. The timestamp IS included as expected. It just is NOT the actual timestamp that occurred when the form was submitted. This is odd to me, because every other field shows real time updates.
Please recall that my specific use of the form is to have a single instance of the form online that multiple people edit over time making minor changes. That is, the edit link is the link that the form is always accessed by.
I believe I have an incomplete understanding of:
submissions and where the submission REVISION data is stored. And also what instance of the submission data in the menu I should edit to change what I see in the reports.
Please advised. Getting more confused.

Thank you for getting back to us. I believe you would like to know the exact time a submission was made or edited and have it saved in the submissions report. Regrettably, the original submission time shown in the report cannot be changed - it is fixed.
However, I realized that you have a time stamp field that is being updated to the time that the form is being accessed by its user.
This does not provide the exact time the form was being submitted but it provides an estimate. Is it possible for you to use this field as a means of tracking the editing time of the form instead of the original submission time? Here are two reports I downloaded during my testing.
