How to place a condition for a birth date field?

On my form there is a birth date field - is there a way of creating a condition that if the birth date is after 5/31/2015 then the field can not be completed?

You can setup a condition on this field to check if is after or before some date. However, to avoid submissions with a different date that is not your range you may display an error message using a text field and hide the submit button. A sample condition can be as below:
