    Google Spreadsheet integration depending on Option chosen

    Hi,

     

    I have created a form for an inventory count which has a dropdown list where you choose your club's location.

    Can i save the form to  a different google spreadsheet depending on the option chosen?

    Hi Alex,

    To confirm, you would like to have a different Google Spreadsheets created for a set of options in a drop-down menu?

    Unfortunately it is not possible to have different spreadsheets created from one form. You could however create a form, that would redirect your user to a different form depending on the option that is selected from the dropdown.

    You can then integrate each of those forms to a Google Spreadsheet.

    Please inform us if that is a work around that you are interested in.

    Hi Alex,

    You can start this by requesting just the "RAC Club" on the first form with the "Next" option. This would actually be the submit button but the text would be "Next". You can determine which fields you would need to be filled on the first form.

    To change the submit text, you would select the Submit button and select the "Submit Text" option on the toolbar.

    You would then create a form for each option that is in the selected dropdown menu. You can create one form and then clone that form as many times as you need and change the title and headings.

    I created two sample forms from the dropdown menu. I only used those two options in the first sample form.

     

    You can then set up the Google Spreadsheet integration for each of those forms.

    You would then grab the direct URL for each form to use in the first form that was created.

    You would then go to your first form and select "Conditions" from the toolbar.

    You would select "Change thank you URL after submission"

    You would then create the condition. You would create a condition for each option and include the link to the form associated with it.
