How To Create A Drop down list with specific Dates?

I'm trying to do a date field with a list of specific dates, for customers to place a classified ad in the next available issue. Based on the time the customer places the ad and the deadline for the next issue. I'm attaching a screen shot of our current form that does this, cause it's kind of hard to explain. Is this possible with Jotform?

    Hi,

I'm not sure if I understood your concern correctly. Are you looking to add a drop down list with specific dates? If that is that case, you can do that by using the Drop down box under Form Tools. Here's a sample form: http://www.jotform.com/form/50145671201948

You may, however, use "Conditions" to set rules and actions for your form, I'm not sure if this is applicable to what you are looking for. You can check this guide here: http://www.jotform.com/help/57-Smart-Forms-Using-Conditional-Logic

You might also want to check our widget database to see if you can use something that would suit the function you're looking for: http://widgets.jotform.com/search/date

Let us know if you need more assistance on this.

    Thank you.

Well, what I want to happen is for the date form to show a list of dates (every Friday), with the list starting with the next available publication date (the Friday after the current date). Instead of it being the entire year, including past dates. So for example, like in the screenshot, if I were to place an ad today the list would start with the next coming Friday, and list several Fridays after.

I don't see a widget that offers that, and I don't see a way to set up a condition to start the list automatically based on the current date.

I know that sounds really confusing, sorry.

    Hi Eric,

Unfortunately looking at the jotform widgets, that is not something that you can do at this time, using jotform.

You could do that by using jotform and then modifying the options in the dropdown in source code using a bit of codding on your website. That would allow you to have all the other options you have made in Form Builder, while allowing you to show the dates as you currently do.

Do let us know if you have any further questions.

    Best Regards,
    Ben
