Stripe and jotformAsked by Alex King on January 15, 2015 at 06:03 PM
We have pa 500 customers which are paying with check and bank transfers.
We are going to ask all customers to start paying by card through.. via Stripe.
Each customer is being charged a different amount on a bi-monthly basis (but not the same date) so we need pre-authorisaiton. Is that possible with Stripe?
So we are going to send them an email outlining the change in our terms and conditions, then we want them to complete a form
We need the customer to provide their payment details and contact detail. We would like ie a pre-authorisation credit/debit card – however because each customer is being charged a different amount on a bi-monthly basis (but not the same date) we cannot display an amount on the form. Do you know if this is possible?
Thanks for your help
To confirm, you would like to know if it is possible to use Stripe to Authorize payments?
If that is the case, yes it is possible. You can view on guide on how to set up payment authorization: http://www.jotform.com/help/292-How-to-Enable-Payment-Authorization
As it relates to the amount that is authorized, the amount would have to select by the user. If you have different types of subscriptions, you are place the options and ask your user to select their subscription with the related charge. If the charges are more varied, you can set up the form like a donation form, (single entry field) where you would ask the user to manually enter their subscription charge.
I hope this helps, please inform us if you need further assistance.
