How can I change the titles of the email subject lines, so that I can distinguish between different types of forms when I receive them?

Thank you Shadae, but I already did that?

And it doesn't show up when I send the form to myself by email?

(Although it DOES show up when I use 'send test' from the jotform-builder page) ??

Or maybe I'm just being thick - can you tell me more step by step what to do?

    Sorry!

    Hello again,

    Thanks for getting back.
I have just written to you twice but for some reason it's not shown up?

My problem is that I am NOT getting the form: 'Gift Certificate email reading request' sent to me with that in the subject line! (It always says 'Email Tarot Reading Request', in the subject line, same as the other one shown).

    What is going wrong?!

(I have 3 other forms that all work fine, just this one refuses to display the subject line that I have specified in jotform).

    Thanks, Alison.

    Ps...

When I click the 'test email' button from within jot form builder, I get an email with the the right title? (Except it says TEST in front of it, of course!)

But it never has the correct title when I test my form out for real??

    Alison

    Hi Alison,

The reason for this is because the tests are sent over our noreply@jotform.com while you are trying to submit over your own email.

During the test, our servers will actually try sending it over your email setup, but if that does not work, they will fall back to what "they know" is working to try sending it like that.

What I would recommend is to either:

    1. change the sender to noreply@jotform.com or
    2. remove the verified sender email address and then follow it up by adding it back once again.

If that still does not work and you do not want to use our email address to send you the notification, then you could switch to MandRill.

Do let us know how it goes.

    Best Regards,
    Ben

    H

    i Ben,

Thank you, your suggestion of changing the sender to noreply@jotform actually worked!

EXCEPT... I received two duplicate emails with different subject lines? (One with the subject line 'Gift Certificate email reading request' and the other with the subject line: Email Tarot Reading Request'.

Why am I getting duplicate emails?

    Thanks, Alison.

PS Just experimented by changing the sender on my 'Email Tarot Reading Request' form to noreply@jotform - and also received two duplicate emails? (This time both with the same subject line: 'Email Tarot Reading Request'). ??!

    Hi Alison,

Since this is no longer associated with the same issue that you have started the thread about, I have moved it to a new thread here: http://www.jotform.com/answers/498669 and we will be responding to it shortly.

    Best Regards,
    Ben
