    Entry Fields not working on iOS Safari Browser

    Asked by visitfortwayne on January 19, 2015 at 10:01 AM

    I'm unable to enter any data into the fields on the form I've embedded at http://www.visitfortwayne.com/plan/deals/-plan-deals-sister-act-the-musical/ when using my iPhone or iPad. The form displays correctly, but nothing happens when I touch each of the fields.  I've tried both the java script and iframe embed and had the same issue.

    Any ideas?

    Hi,

    May I know how you embed using the iFrame? Please do remove the <script> code that was included in the embed form code.

    After you copy and paste, you'll get two wrapped up codes, one is <iframe> the other is <script>

    Just have the <iframe> code in your website.

    <iframe id="JotFormIFrame" onload="window.parent.scrollTo(0,0)" allowtransparency="true" src="//support.jotform.com/form/50183934670962" frameborder="0" style="width:100%; height:2384px; border:none;" scrolling="no"></iframe>

    Remove the <script> code included in it which is this pink highlight.
    <script type="text/javascript">window.handleIFrameMessage = function(e) {var args = e.data.split(":");var iframe = document.getElementById("JotFormIFrame");if (!iframe)return;switch (args[0]) {case "scrollIntoView":iframe.scrollIntoView();break;case "setHeight":iframe.style.height = args[1] + "px";break;case "collapseErrorPage":if (iframe.clientHeight > window.innerHeight) {iframe.style.height = window.innerHeight + "px";}break;case "reloadPage":window.location.reload();break;}};if (window.addEventListener) {window.addEventListener("message", handleIFrameMessage, false);} else if (window.attachEvent) {window.attachEvent("onmessage", handleIFrameMessage);}</script>

    Also, have you tried making the form mobile responsive? You can do that by following the screenshot below.

    1. Navigate to "Designer"

    2. Inside the Form Designer, click the "Form Layout" section and tick the "Make this form responsive". You can preview it to see how it will looked like to different devices.

    I hope this helps. Let us know if you need more assistance on this.

    Thank you.
