    Google Spreadsheet: new fields added, names now missing

    I have a Resume Uploader/ job Application form with both Google Drive and Google Spreadsheets Integration.

    Recently I changed names in the field Details of some elements so that I could be certain file naming structure would be correct..

    EXAMPLE

         {surname18} became {surname}

         {name5} became {name} 

    I removed and re-installed Integration choosing a custom file naming scheme of {surname}, {name} - {qualification} ({whichoffice}) {time}.

    The files are now coming into Google Drive with the naming scheme I want, however, now the spreadsheet I had integrated with this form is showing fields like Surname, Name as empty for all entries previous to the change.

    I've tried downloading as excel from the submissions and it produces the same result.

    Is there a way I can re-integrate this spreadsheet while downloading the previous entries?

    Or is there a way to redownload all the previous entries while maintaining integration?

    Also, I had created some formatting rules on the Google spreadsheet; freeze columns, resize cells, bold, conditional colour formatting based on cell input. The formatting has also disappeared.

    Hi,

    If I understand correctly, you wanted to capture the submissions in the Google Spreadsheet with the added field name? Please clarify if this is not.

    Unfortunately, if the previous submissions did not have the new added fields, then it won't have the data for that field also.

    You can see this in your form View Submissions page . Noticed that previous submissions prior to addition of new field also do not have data on them.

    You will need to ask the previous form respondents to fill-in and re-submit the form if you want to capture those data... I see no other means how to get those data expect except by this process.
