Hello, I have tried sending my form in a quick text to my past customers/clients. Some have worked, and some have not. I was told by someone that the Iphone Safari didnt allow the person to submit the form and it said "error couldnt open" The person is running iphone 3gs with 4.3.5 udpate.

What would you say is the best way to submit the form?

    Thanks,

    Mike

If you embed the form to your website, then it should be a moblie website as well as a thin form.

You should try to embed it with iframe if its on a website.

Are you using the form as standalone or do you have it embedded somewhere? If embedded, kindly give us the URL of the exact page so we can test for ourselves.

Anyway, it's quite odd that the message your client got is "error couldnt open". This message leads me to believe that the problem is with the phone's network connection because the person was able to click the submit button as you have implied in your post.

Would it be possible to have someone else submit the form using another iPhone device? This is so we can compare and investigate if your issue is exclusive to mobile devices.

We'll be looking forward to your feedback. Thanks!

Let me try having someone send in a test from their iphone and if there is a problem i will let you know. I swtiched the code to I-frame, tried on my BB and it worked fine.

Thanks again, i'll be in contact if there is an issue.

To clarify on this, If i were to send my form via text, should I send them to the site the form is on, or simple send the html link so it pops up alone? I'm not sure if sending them the html link would be the iframe options we discussed.

    or

www.teamexp.com/formals (they would have to go to the bottom of the page here)

    Thanks for your help,

    Mike

I would like to inform you that either your direct form link http://form.jotform.com/form/10212053678 or iFrame embed from at http://www.teamexp.com/formals should be okay. Please re-check this from your side.

Thank you for your cooperation with us.
