Add PDF Link to Email Notification

Asked by dougandozzy on January 23, 2015 at 05:19 PM

I got on Email so trying to follow the instructions I clicked on Notification On the right is a pull down with PDF Link at the bottom.  I click it and it puts PDF in a different location than what I was sent.  Then I see no Time Frame.  Why can't you give me a call?  I am thinking this is a joke.  Can you do it and send me the new link to put in my site or do you want to keep this going on without end.

    Hi dougandozzy,

I do apologize, we do not offer phone support at this time, we are however happy to offer you assistance through our forums.

To confirm, you were trying to add the PDF link to your email notification and it was entered at the wrong position?

If that is the case, when adding an element to your email, it is added wherever the cursor has been placed.

As such you would move the typing cursor to your desired spot and select the PDF option.

I hope this helps, please inform us if you need further assistance.

This is pissing me off now!  I went  on the cloned form you made and copied the code and put it on my site.  I filled out the form and all I get is the answers.  Before I was getting 80% of the form but the answers were below.  Is this some kind of joke?  How many time do I have to write and get good for nothing replies before someone there will fix this?  All I want is the WHOLE FORM THAT IS FILLED OUT TO COME TO MY EMAIL. Why are you not listening to what I say?  I asked 4 or 5 times now to please fix this and SEND ME THE CODE  to put on my site.

    Hello Doug,

I am not sure if you have cloned my colleague's form. I did check the form you have in your account and it does not have any {pdf-link} added in the notification email alert template.

I have done ahead and edited your form "Clone of Purchase Order - Point Of Sale" to did the required changes. The submission email you will receive will have the PDF link to your submission data.

When you say "All I want is the WHOLE FORM THAT IS FILLED OUT TO COME TO MY EMAIL." Do you mean to say that you also want to show the "AUTHORIZATION AND AGREEMENT" as well in the submission emails? Do get back to us on this and we will add the content of agreement in the notification email template.

You can use the following iFrame embed code in your site:

    <iframe id="JotFormIFrame" onload="window.parent.scrollTo(0,0)" allowtransparency="true" src="//form.jotform.us/form/50194139061147" frameborder="0" style="width:100%; height:2563px; border:none;" scrolling="no"></iframe>

    Hope this helps.

Do get back to us if you the agreement text in the submission emails as well.

We will wait for your response.

    Thank you!

    On a separate note:

I did check your form and found that you have fields which is asking your users to input their credit card details. Please be noted that you should not ask credit card information from your users. Creating such form is not allowed in JotForm. If you need to process payments, please use one of our integrated payment tools.

We have automated anti-phishing system which scans all forms and mark them with probability of being used for phishing activities. It's just a matter of time and our anti-phishing filter will disable your form and suspend your account.
