I submitted a private ticket with the details. I've discovered the problem. I deleted a submission in Edit and subsequent submissions appear out of date/time order in the spreadsheet.
What is the safest way to delete a submission without disturbing the order of submission? And if a submission is edited in the Jotform Submission Edit, how does that impact the re-submission timing and order?

Hi,
You mean to say that you have a separate thread about this problem? I cant' seem to find a recent one. You only have this thread for this week.
I deleted a submission in Edit and subsequent submissions appear out of date/time order in the spreadsheet.
-You mean to say that you have deleted a submission in the Form Submissions page?
What is the safest way to delete a submission without disturbing the order of submission?
-You can always delete a submission from the spreadsheet. Just delete the row and the integration will sync the new submission automatically next to the old ones.
And if a submission is edited in the Jotform Submission Edit, how does that impact the re-submission timing and order?
-The order of the submission remains the same in the Google Spreadsheet.
-The submission date will remain the same in the Google Spreadsheet.
Additional information about the integration:
a. When you delete a submission in the form submissions page, the deleted data will remain in the Google Spreadsheet.
b. When you edit a submission directly from the spreadsheet, the data in your form submissions page (in Jotform) won't change.
Thanks

Welvin,

**Yes, I thought it safe to delete the form in the Editing Submissions screen: Submissions: form title, assuming that subsequent submissions would over-write the "deleted line"
What is the safest way to delete a submission without disturbing the order of submission?

**No this doesn't work if the original submission isn't deleted, the same number of entries will be written to the sheet, and the "deleted" line will be created
---------
a. When you delete a submission in the form submissions page, the deleted data will remain in the Google Spreadsheet. **I'm not sure what this means, "form submissions page", the original form or the form in Submissions edit mode?
b. When you edit a submission directly from the spreadsheet, the data in your form submissions page (in Jotform) won't change. **Yes I know that.

halh is not one of our accounts. I was searching the forums and found related issues. And instead of opening a new thread I wanted to see what the solutions was but there wasnt any solution. And then i found this thread which points back to that thread so i thought that a solution was found. So when I tried to go back it didnt load so im guessing it has changed into a private thread. Should I open a new thread for the same problem?
