We are suddenly getting a new email from Jotform which says the following:

    From: Jotform

    Sent: Tuesday, March 28, 2023 1:36 PM

    To: finance

Subject: Your PDFs are ready‌ ‌

Your PDFs are ready for download

You can now download your PDFs. They will be available for 15 daysand will be deleted afterward. Please download your files before April 12, 2023

This is confusing for us, since we usually get an automatic notification which contains the uploaded documents, and then the uploaded documents continues to be held with our data, until the upload limit of 10 GB. There should be no need for the uploaded documents to be deleted after 15 days. We've only used 2 GB of data after many years, so we are not in danger of going over the limit.

Upon reviewing other aspects of our settings, I found that our "auto-deletion" feature under "data" is disabled, so there should be no deletion of uploaded files.

Also, under API Apps, I see there is a "DOWNLOAD_ATTACHMENTS" app with read-only access. I am wondering if this is the source of the current dilemma, and what would happen if I delete this app?

Bottom line is that we do not want our file uploads to be deleted if we are within limits. Can you help us accomplish that?

    Hi David,

Thank you for reaching out to Jotform Support. You'll receive that email when you download form submissions as PDFs from Jotform tables. That link will be available for 15 days and will expire afterward; however, your PDF submissions will stay on your account which you can download again anytime you want for backup purposes. It is not related to your upload space.

Reach out again if there's anything else we can do for you.
