Can check boxes be used to auto-populate / insert standard text on a report section?Asked by Bill on January 27, 2015 at 09:26 AM
Can check boxes be used to auto-populate / insert standard text on a report section?
Basically can you check some boxes and have it build a report on the fly.
Each box you check = some standard legalese-like text.
I'm not sure if I understand your concern completely. If you are looking on how to autopopulate, calculate or hide and show specific fields in your form depending on user input, it is possible using the "Conditions" function of the form builder, you can learn more about it here: http://www.jotform.com/help/57-Smart-Forms-Using-Conditional-Logic.
You might also be interested in our app integration. An example of this is Google spreadsheet, where new submissions will be added there directly and you can create reports based from that fetched data, we also have other apps that might be of used to you, here's our Apps page: http://apps.jotform.com/.
I hope this helps. Let us know if you need more information on this.
