Is my form secure if I insert the code to my website?

Asked by TreyOler on August 16, 2010 at 06:12 PM

If my website has an SSL certificate, will my form be secure if I pasted the form code directly into one of my web pages?  Also, what about when it is submitted?  Will the data be sent securely to my jotform account? Or, is the only way I can have a secure form is to use the secure link available?

    For example:

if I paste the following into an html web page <script src="https://www.jotform.com/jsform/##########"></script>, will the information be transmitted securely?

Yes. When you include HTTPS version of your form into your site data will be transmitted securely but your users will not see any security notification in the URL Bar.

If you want to show SLL Certificate on URL bar, you should also enable HTTPS on your site.
