How can I have attachments forward to my email?

When my customers fill out my form, they generally add an attachment.  I get the for emailed to me, but it does not include the attachment.  I know I can retrieve the attachment from the jotform sight, but would rather have it accessible within the emailed form.

    Is this possible?

    Hello Melanie,

Unfortunately, this is not possible. Email notifications and auto responders sent using the form will only give links of the files uploaded.  One primary reason for this is that there are forms that receive file sizes that an emailer can handle.

If you wish to have an immediate copy of the files, perhaps you can consider integrating your form using Dropbox.

When using Dropbox, your computer can automatically sync with your form submissions, this means when you receive a submission, it will prompt your computer to download the files sent by the form user.  You can learn more about Dropbox integration with JotForm on this link.

If you have other questions or concerns, please do let us know.

    Thanks.

Great news! Files uploaded to your form can now be sent as attachment on email notifications. Please give it a try and let us know if you have any feedback:

You can read more about it on our article blog here
