Salesforce integration: Send the signed document to salesforce

Hello,

Would your team consider building this integration/enhancing the API? We have tested multiple form platforms, and Jotform is the winner by a long shot, but we need the signed application & audit trail to auto-attach to files in Salesforce. This alone will cause us to move to a different provider.

Several users have also been asking for this feature, but these solutions do not work or they were never answered:

And lastly, we were able to make this solution work, but unfortunately, it didn't contain the audit trail. If we were able to pull the audit trail & a Jotform Sign document through this method, then that would be all we need to stay with Jotform. Are there any near-term plans to enhance the API to support this?

Thank you for reaching out to Jotform Support. I understand what you're trying to do and unfortunately, we don't have a native integration available. But it can be done using Zapier based on my test. Let me share with you some screenshots of my Zap because I can't publish it as Zapier requires a Premium subscription. Please check them below.

The trigger:

Action event:

Action action:

Finally, select the Salesforce object and select the user's email address in the Record to Add File.

This Zap will automatically download the signed document that has the audit trail as shown below:

I also opened a feature request to have this option added to the integration, but when or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users also request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.

This only works if you have Jotform Sign template, not for the forms that have Jotform Sign capabilities. Those documents don't show as an option to grab in Zapier. Is there a workaround?

When I log into Zapier via JotForm Enterprise, I only have New Submission as a trigger. How would I get "New Signed Document" added?

Thanks for getting back to us. This integration is only available for Signed Documents, not for forms with the Jotform Sign component.

I have updated the feature request also to include non-sign documents to have a direct integration with Salesforce that sends the signed PDF file. Again, there are many things our Developer Team will consider before implementing such a feature.
