Why are my forms not submitting?

    Had a customer call - he tried to submit on one of our forms, and it wouldn't go through.


    I just tested several of the forms on my website, and none of them will allow a submission (Thank you page does not display, and submission does not go through to my email.)


    Is something wrong, or did something change, that would cause this?

    Hello Doug,

    I've tried submitting one of your JotForm from the website and I was able to submit it without any issues. I've used Google Chrome v40. May I know which browser you are using?

    I've cleared the form caches from our end. Could you try clearing the browser's cache by following the instructions provided in the guide below : 


    Please try submitting the form and let us know if the issue still persists. We will be happy to look into this issue further.

    Hi Kiran,

       Thank you for your help. I was testing in both IE10 and Chrome Version 38.0.2125.122 m.

       I've tested since your reply, and it seems to be working.

    I spoke too soon....I tested one form, and it worked.  The others do not. I have cleared the browser caches on IE and on Chrome, do not work on either.

    No problem. Let us help you with it. Could you provide us with the webpage URLs where you are experiencing the issues in submitting them? If would be great if you can provide us with the screenshot of the error. This would help us in investigating the issue quickly.

    http://www.cfdatasystems.com/5tipsform.html - This is one example of a form not working.


    When I submit the form, I get this blank page, and not the Thank You page, and the form does not come through to my email...

    On my home page, www.cfdatasystems.com, there are a series of links right below the "View Our Literature" button. Each of these links directs to a different page with a "Learn More" button. Each "Learn More" button brings you to a jotform.  I've tested half of them, and none are working...

    I checked the standalone form and I was able to complete submissions without issue:

    You embedded form does not however show the Thank You page.  I noticed you have your form embedded using the source code.  This will not update your form with changes made in the form builder.  If you have made any updates after you embedded your form, they will not be shown.

    I always recommend people embed their forms using the iFrame embed method:


    This will also update your embedded form with any changes made in the form builder.  You can also re-embed your form using the source code once again to reflect the changes, but each time you make any changes you will need to embed your form again to your page.

    Let us know if the iFrame does not work for you and we will be happy to see what else we can do.
