Requiring files and pictures with form submissionAsked by lifesolutions on February 02, 2015 at 01:22 PM
We have one of our forms set to require a picture and credentials (as attached files) with the form when they submit it so in other words they cannot submit the form without adding a picture and the required files. I selected "required" for the upload photo and file options on the form, however, somehow some people are getting around this and they are still able to submit the form without attaching these items. Can you tell me why that is?
After reviewing your form on your webpage, I am seeing that the form is only reading your last two fields as being required.
However on your direct form, all required fields are being seen as required:
It appears that there is a conflict on your webpage, prevented the required fields from being validated.
Please embed your form using the iFrame method to prevent conflicts: http://www.jotform.com/help/148-Getting-the-Form-iFrame-Code
I hope this helps, please inform us if you need further assistance.
Hmm that's strange. Okay I've done that. We'll see if that fixes the problem. Thank you.
Let us know if using the iFrame embed method does not resolve the issue and we will be happy to have another look. Usually, using the iFrame embed does correct issues that are unique to the embedded version of the form.
