the pdf looks bad - what's with the fonts?
I have several submissions that I turned into pdf files but the fonts look terrible.
Is there any setting that can be changed to make that look better?
thanks,
Andrea

Thank you for contacting us.
We use a Liberation Sans font in submission PDFs.
Unfortunately, the PDFs are not styleable at the moment. I have attached a feature request ticket about the PDF styling to this thread and forwarded it to our Development Team.
We do not have any ETA, but we will let you know if we have any updates.

You can create a printable preview of your document that substitutes default fonts for any text formatted in fonts that are available on your local computer but are not embedded in the PDF. This preview can help you decide whether to embed those local fonts in the PDF, to achieve the look you want for your document.
In the Preferences dialog box under Categories, select Page Display , and then deselect Use Local Fonts.Note:
If a font cannot be substituted, the text appears as bullets, and Acrobat displays an error message.
But what I did is go to basically the same place but I did this:Preferences dialog box under Categories, select Page Display , and then select, under 'Rendering', Smooth Text: For Laptop/LCD ScreensHope that can help somebody else -

Hello,
We have released submission PDF editor under:
Submissions page -> click Get PDF -> Customize PDF.
Thank you very much for sharing your solution. Considering this, I have also included a font selector in the editor.
I hope it will be able to produce better output for you. Please let us know if you have more feedback.
Kind regards
