Is there a way to save form answers in browser for future use?

    Hi there,

I have a client that does a grant application every year...

    http://www.sunnysidefoundation.org/grantapp.html

I'm in the process of changing the form over to JotForm.

Is there a way to save their answers so that they can go back without filling out the form all over again? Only changing a few answers?

The people filling out the form are teachers and the security on their computers at the school is pretty tight.

The foundation has asked me several times.. "Is there a way to make the form easier for the teachers to fill out every year?"

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you!

    Hello AFreshApproach,

Yes there is a way for you to do this. We have a "Save Forms to Continue Later" feature that you can utilize that will save the submission session for the form user that can be edited later. Upon the first submission a link is sent to the form user so if they ever feel the need to edit the form in the future, they can access it through that link. You can follow the guides below to get this done.

How to Save Forms to Continue Later
How to Let Users Update Their Form Submissions at a Later Date

I hope this helps. Feel free to contact us if further assistance is needed.

    Cheers!

    Hi Sean,

Thank you.  I briefly glanced at the links.  And this method will allow the end user to save the form for up to a year.  They can go back at any time?

    Hello AFreshApproach,

Once a submission is made, a unique key will be created and assigned to that submission. This method uses that same unique key to retrieve what was previously entered by the user. As long as the submission is not deleted by you, the worker should be able to access the information and edit it at any time once they click on the edit link sent in the Auto Response mail. I hope this answers your question. Feel free to contact us if further support is needed.

    Cheers!

Okay. Thank you.  If I have any future questions about how to set all this up, can I just post it here or start a new thread?

    Hi Carol,

Please create a new thread and you can just put this thread as a reference.

    Thanks
