    Form Language : Issue with language selection on form and translation saving

    Hi,

    We have been experiencing issues with translations since last week. First we've noticed that the translation widget had been removed from the edition menu to the advanced settings. Since this change, we have been having issues with the translations not being saved properly and the language selection menu on form not working anymore.

    Here is a test form we have created for you to see this issue :

    The Heading field has been created with text "This is DEFAULT". Then, we have made French the default language of the form with translation "This is FRENCH" and the secondary language is English with translation "This is ENGLISH".

    Unfortunately, when you preview the form, you can only read the "This is DEFAULT" heading and the language selection in the top corner seems disabled. This happens because previously saved translations always go back to empty fields without explanations.

    Can you please help with this bug?

    We are very sorry for the inconveniences you are currently facing.

    I was able to reproduce the issue with the Form Languages tool. I have attached a bug report ticket to this thread and escalated it to our Development Team.

    We will keep you updated via this thread.

    Thanks for your help. Any clue if this bug will be fixed any time soon?

    We are using the Language tool for the majority of our forms and have been unable to use it for almost 2 weeks now.

    Unfortunately, there is no update on the issue yet. I see that one of our back end team member is assigned to look into this issue and marked as important. Our development team works on the tasks based on the priority and critical issues as assigned. Hopefully, this issue should be resolved soon.

    We have noticed the many problems experienced by other users lately with the translation tool and many updates and attempts from the developpers team to solve the issue...

    Any new information regarding our ticket? We have a large number of forms that are being affected by the issue in various ways. Any tips on how to avoid further translation problems could help us with our future forms.

    Unfortunately, there are no updates regarding this issue yet.

    I see that the ticket currently has been marked as urgent which means that probably the assigned developer is currently working on it. So hopefully, a fix is released soon.
