Paypal form issue... free item.

    Hi

I have an issue with the Paypal form. I have set up several products all with options and prices and I wanted to say that if the customer bought 5 then they get the 6th free, so I set up a product with zero value and options for them to choose from. The trouble being that the free item with its reference is not passed through to the paypal screen, and doesnt show up on the incomplete payment submission so I am guessing wouldn't show on the completed submission either?

Would I need to do the above somehow outside of the payment form?

    I have attached a screenshot

    Hope this makes sense.

    Thanks

    Jim...

    Hi Jim,

Did you add a quantity on the free product?

When I tested your form, the free product appears on the Paypal checkout page so I presumed it is working normally just fine. Free product should also appear on the notifications as well.

    Hi

I didn't enter a quantity as I set it up with a default quantity of 1, maybe it didnt recognize that so maybe if I leave it as 0 and let customer update.

Thanks for the test I will give it another look.

    Cheers

    Jim...

    Hi

OK I thought entering a default quantity of 1 would mean it would get picked up by the form, but apparently did not, so I have set it to 0 and when the quantity of 1 is entered it is passed through.

    Thanks again for your help
