How to allow users to only upload one file?

Asked by Chuck on February 05, 2015 at 12:03 AM

How can our clients send multiple videos, one at a time, with only one video per form? I see that we can embed the form on our website/app. I'm just trying to figure out if a client can upload a video on the form that will describe the video, then, upload additional videos by simply pressing a "clear form" button and fill it out all over again with a different video and different entries in my form.

A client may upload as few as five videos or as many as two hundred. Each video will require different tags and descriptions that will be captured on the form that the video is uploaded with.

Hope this makes sense. Sorry if it is confusing. Let me know if you need additional details.

    Hello Chuk,

How can our clients send multiple videos, one at a time, with only one video per form?

I am not sure if I have understood your question correctly. Do you want only allow your users to be able to upload just 1 file per form?

I did check all forms you have in your account and it seem you are using Upload question with "Allow Multiple". Please be noted that if you enable the "Allow Multiple" option of your file upload question, users will be able to select more than one file and upload.

If you want your users to be able to upload one file, you should disable the "Allow Multiple" property. Please check the screenshot below:

If you do not want to display the single file upload question and want to show the upload question with allow multiple enabled but still restrict the users to upload only one file, it is also possible to achieve this. You need to set the "Maximum number of files" property of the file upload question. Please check the screenshot below:

    Hope this helps.

Do get back to us if you meant to ask something else. You may like to explain your requirement a bit more in detail.

    Thank you!
