Refreshing the form won't reset to the default option of the radio button making the collapse to show instead of hidden

I have a Option to choose No or Yes under a form Collapse titled Client 2 or Partner

The default for this Option is "No" as set within properties.

I then had a condition, that if the Option is changed to "Yes" that they want to add details for their partner,  then 3 other Form collapse sections would become visible.

However when I refresh the form, all the Form Collapse sections are visible and my option is under Client 2 or Partner is set as "Yes"

I can't understand why it reverts to "Yes" when the default is "No"

Is it because I am showing all of the Collapsed Form controls under the one condition,OR

Do Also have to include all the underlying fields in each collapsed section, within conditions as well.

Anybody know how I can hide these sections when the user first goes to the form, and only show them after they choose "Yes".

    Hi,

Your conditional logic is actually working. The issue here is you have enabled Autofill feature which remembers your inputs/selections in the form. If you select "yes" and hit refresh, the form will remember your last selected option and it won't reset to "No" until you manually change it again.

Refreshing the form wont reset to the default option of the radio button making the collapse to show instead of hidden Image 1 Screenshot 20

Do Also have to include all the underlying fields in each collapsed section, within conditions as well.

-No need since you are using this method: https://www.jotform.com/help/297-Show-or-Hide-multiple-fields-at-once-using-form-collapse-tool

I hope that answers your question.

    Thank you!

Thank you very much for that.

I had tried everything like manually changing it and refreshing, but unfortunately it appears to be a cache problem or something like that in Firefox. I will look at fixing that later.

As soon as I tried a different browser it worked.

Never even thought it could be that, so again Thank you.

Update: Now it is working in firefox - thinking I was refreshing too fast and not letting Auto save form do its work.

You are welcome and I'm glad that I could help.

Yes, auto-save is every 4 seconds based on your settings. You have to wait for this timeframe so that the form remembers your last option.
