Language Wizard: Ability to change the order of languages in the dropdown of the form.

Can I add a suggestion - it wasn't obvious when adding the languages that we would be unable to change the order in which they are displayed in the drop-down list afterwards (I can't see a way to do this? Changing the default language doesn't seem to affect the ordering after changing it back again). It would be good to be able to set up a more logical order for the drop-down list!

    Hi,

You can actually change order of the languages by re-adding them to the list, so if you would add multiple language, first add the most preferred one up to the least most.

If you would still like to add a feature request on this, I can escalate it but I unfortunately we can't guarantee that this will even be considered and implemented.

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you.

    Hi Charlie,

Of course, starting over is a possibility - in which case the best fix I can imagine is to clone the form and have two tabs open, deleting all languages on the primary form, then copy-pasting the text from each field, for each language, over from the clone - this time in the correct order. Bit of a cumbersome time-waster, though!

If you don't foresee a fix, you might consider making it clearer to the first-time user what your picture shows there, that their language order must be pre-determined before beginning the process. Otherwise you may see this issue come up a few times - as you'll notice if you try it out that you can indeed click and drag the language boxes, to no effect... which is of course confusing, as it would at first suggest that re-ordering them later is a very simple business.

No massive issue - this is mostly FYI as each language took around 10-15 minutes to create using Google translate (in an arbitrary order), so I think it could be likely that you'll see this issue raised again.

    Best!

We appreciate your suggestion, this will be forwarded to our second level, if it gets implemented in the future, you will be notified via this thread about it's update.
