Authorize.net integration error message: " Error 8: The credit card has expired."Asked by welsweb on February 06, 2015 at 11:06 AM
When I test the integration of my authorize.net account information, I receive the following error message: Error 8: The credit card has expired.
I have checked your support forum and noticed one other post regarding this same issue (http://www.jotform.com/answers/510922-Error-Credit-Card-expired-when-adding-Authorize-Net-Integration).
I originally copied and pasted the API Login ID and Transaction Key and then I re-typed. Neither option worked.
I have also verified in "Show Properties" that "Sandbox Text Mode" is currently marked "NO".
I have gone back to our other active forms and tested the integration and receive the same error 8 message.
Another thing I tried was actually completing the form and making a $1 purchase and the process worked properly.
Any thoughts on why the error 8 message is displayed when testing integration?
Thanks for your help.
It might be that the credit card that is related to your Authorize.net has expired, or the API Login ID and Transaction key specific to the credit card associated with your Authorize.net has expired.
Could you please make sure that everything was setup correctly in your Authorize.net account and if the credit card associated with it is fine?
Upon doing some testing, I see the error appears even though I updated the API Login ID:
But, I did a submission test, and it went through:
I will forward this to our second level to check further. Thanks for reporting this.
