How Adobe FormsCentral Migration Imports Sub-Users

Asked by Chad  on February 09, 2015 at 04:06 PM

    Staff of JotForm,

With FormsCentral expiring there are a few questions that I have for your product at JotForm.

Is the migration of forms separate per sub-user or would it be just from the primary account holder?

If I choose the premium upgrade can sub-users see one another's forms and responses or are their forms private to them?

Additionally can the account holder see all forms and responses from each sub-user?

Thank you for your interest in our service.

I think that the import tool should import all the forms that are owned by your account. The import is free, so you can actually import multiple accounts if needed.

We have the following sharing options:

    - Share all forms (of the parent account).

    - Share specific folders and/or forms.

The sub account user creates the forms under the parent account by default, so these forms are being accessible by the parent account (and other sub users, if the to the specific folder is shared). In case, your sub users need private forms, they can switch from a sub-user only mode to a standard account mode, so they will be able to create their own private forms and also use the sub user features.

We have a guide available here:
