Import a PDF form and turn it into a fillable webform in Jotform

Asked by hhd319 on February 09, 2015 at 08:27 PM

I enjoyed FormsCentral's ability to simply upload a PDF form and have it work. Can I still do that? I do not like the idea of having to rebuild a form that is 10 pages long....

Being able to simply upload a premade PDF form will determine the new Form Tool I use to replace FormsCentral.

UPDATE: We are now able to import PDF forms to JotForm and turn them into Fillable PDF Forms

    Hi Tami,

Unfortunately, we don't have the feature to import a PDF form and turn it into a fillable web form, but allow me to forward this thread to our developers as a feature request.

If you have an Adobe Form Central version of this PDF form, then you can simply import it using our import tool (Adobe Form Central to Jotform):

    Thank you!

When you click the Import Forms button, select the Upload PDF and upload your PDF file. You will be informed via email once your form is ready.

Once the fillable PDF form is imported to Jotform, how do you edit the imported form?

I just attempted to import a pdf..  I have choices to clone an existing form and enter a website address... I don't see a "import pdf' selection.

This is the response I received after uploading the form.... Thank You!

This process may take a couple of days.

Since this is a new feature, we are taking longer to ensure the quality of your forms.

I guess I'll see what get in a few days.
