Does someone know how to setup ecommerce tracking with JotForm?
I usually use Payment tools in Jotform or just simple dropdowns for quantity of products / services.
How can Google analytics track what quantity was selected?
Let's take this form for elephant ride as an example. Assuming the goal conversion value for one ticket with the price of 65 USD would be 5,00 USD. The user selects two tickets. How can I transfer this information into Google Analytics? I would need this functionality to calculate the profit / loss of ad campaigns.
Thanks a lot in advance!

Hi,
I'm not that familiar with Ecommerce in Google Analytics, but you could use our widget Google Analytics to see if it collects the information you needed.
Another thing that I can think of is using Google Spreadsheets, you just need to integrate it with your form, after that all submission will also be directly be inserted into a spreadsheet, you can then setup specific columns to have a formula to calculate profit/loss based from the number of entries or submissions you are receiving, of course that includes what kind of data is being fetched.
You may also try checking our widgets page for Analytics: http://widgets.jotform.com/category/analytics
You can also check the apps page for making reports and analytics: http://apps.jotform.com/category/analytics_and_reporting
I hope this helps.
Kind regards.

Hi Charlie, thanks for the reply. It would then only show me the data of the form submissions but not how much money was spent on the ads/campaigns. In Google Analytics everything would be under one roof and could be calculated automatically. Any idea who to ask for something like this?
Cheers,

Hi Chris,
Unfortunately, I believe JotForm does not have a readily available feature for this function you are looking for. Although, I see that you can use Formisimo, which do data analytic, tracking and conversion of data.
Regarding the Google Analytics, you could try passing data of your submissions using API, if that is possible. Here's the document you can refer on that: http://api.jotform.com/.
Or you could also try manually passing the values fetched from the form and pass it directly to your Google analytics.

Other than the ones I mentioned, I believe there's no automated or readily available app that you can use for data conversion.
I hope this helps.
Thank you.

Hi Chris, I just wanted to give you an update and let you know that today we released a native Form Analytics feature which I believe you may find very useful for a much needed in-house tracking feature for your form submissions and statistical data.
Please take a look at our blog about Form Analytics here http://www.jotform.com/blog/150-Introducing-Form-Analytics and you are more than welcome to try it out for yourself here http://www.jotform.com/form-analytics/.
