How to edit submissions and then download the submission PDF?

Asked by Ryan Ridgway on February 12, 2015 at 01:52 AM
    3. Additionally, we realize that many of our applicants may be dishonest about their business practices prior to an initial call (in an attempt to get lower interest rates, better repayment terms, etc...) so I'd also enjoy the opportunity to receive the form in such a way that it can be updated in house with updated/accurate information and then turned into a PDF for a physical signature (e.g. Acme Floor Co. submits a loan application that says their monthly revenue is $25,000 when in reality it's only $15,000. We update the loan application (JotForm) and then turn into a PDF to send back for physical signature).

    Hi Ryan,

Editing submissions and generating it in PDF format are possible in Jotform.

For the option to edit a submission, you can do that in the form submissions page. Just click "Edit" button and re-submit the form to finish:

You can also generate an edit link through email, just add the {edit_link} tag in the notifier body:

For downloading the submission into PDF format, you can also do that in the form submissions page. Just click "Get PDF" button:

Or download it through email, simply add the {pdf-link} tag in the notifier body:

Let us know if you have any further questions about these options.

    Thanks
