I see in the pricing page of your website that I can upgrade or downgrade my plan at any time. I bought an annual Premium subscription to Jotform. If I switch it to the free Starter plan, what happens to the prepaid time I have left on the annual Premium plan? Does it stay there as a credit for if/when I decide to upgrade the plan again later? Is it refunded to me? Or do I simply lose it?

If you cancel your subscription, your account will stay premium for the time you have already paid and only after that yous account will only be downgraded to free plan.
It is not possible to carry forward or take credit for unused submissions. You can demand refund for the unused period but in that case prorate refund will be processed. Please be noted that yearly subscription plan has discounted price and if you cancel your subscription, we will calculate the used month on regular price ($9.95 in case of premium subscription).
