    JotForm uses prototype library and that can sometimes cause conflicts with jquery. I added this to our bug list. We will look into it. Thanks.

    I don't have an answere, but this is definitely a struggle of mine.  I hope once the jotForm prototype library is namespaced then there's a notification sent to my dashboard.

    Hello rivaszarate, DudesThatKnowStuff, and husmen73:

    Could you give us the URL of your webpages that have the jQuery conflict with JotForm?  an additional bit of explanation that uses the jquery library will be of help as well so that we can know what to expect on the page without the conflict.

    Will wait for your responses.

    Thanks.

    Hi - I just became a premium user.  Thanks for a nice service.

    I did just notice that my jQuery lightbox is breaking, but only when I choose the "Source" version.

    "Embed" seems to work fine.  I'd like to verify that this will be stable, and to add my vote to switch over to jQuery, which is in everything anyway.

    @Terri

    Using Embed or iFrame should keep the form's own scripts from clashing with your website's jQuery plugins, since the form is isolated in an iframe, as a webpage within a webpage.

    If you're wondering, Embed also generates iframe codes. The difference is that the Embed script automatically adjusts the iframe height depending on the form's length.

    To sum it all up, yes, Embed and iFrame should make the form stable and compatible with your jQuery plugins.

    Anyway, your suggestion about switching to jQuery is duly noted. Our developers will definitely take these ideas into consideration.

    If you have other questions, or if you need assistance in creating your forms, please let us know. Thank you for choosing Jotform!
