How To Let User Save and Continue Progress on Form at a Later Time?Asked by Erik on February 13, 2015 at 10:03 AM
The form we want to create has a lot of financial information. Many users need to save their progress and return to the form at a later date with additional information. We would need a form that would allow the user to create a login and password for their progress.
Yes it is possible for the user save their progress to continue later. There are two ways:
1. Using the Auto Fill Feature: http://www.jotform.com/help/227-How-to-Enable-Auto-Fill-Feature
2. Using sessions to save and continue progress on forms: http://www.jotform.com/help/97-How-to-Save-Forms-to-Continue-Later
Unfortunately, I would not recommend using fields with names username and password, or similar to a log in portal, our system would detect it as a phishing form, and this is a violation of our Terms, please see this page. What you can use are emails and session which is what the second method above is.
I hope this helps.
