Is there a fixed text field where something I want the user to read is returned with his/ her electronic signature?

Asked by GrahamFawcett on August 22, 2010 at 08:14 AM

I want my form users to read a Waiver of Responsibility, give me their particulars and return the form to me with a copy of the Waiver included, so it is clear later what they agreed to with their signature. Is there a fixed text field that does this? Any workarounds suggested?

There is no electronic signature feature. What I have seen done is to have a required checkbox that says "I accept the terms" or a small textbox where they are asked to enter their initials.

Another possible solution is to add a "Print Form" button to your form and then ask them to print, sign and fax the filled form. You can enable print form button by clicking on the Submit button and then selecting "Print Button" at the toolbar.

UPDATE: We have just released e-signature capturing for forms.

You can now add an e-signature question to your form and get your users to sign the forms they complete.
