change the text of the button while upload??

Asked by Tropics on February 16, 2015 at 07:04 AM

I set up a form to upload files to dropbox. Comparing with a template dropbox. I would like to know how to put the percentage of uploaded file (as shown on the template dropbox). Do not use the template because I can not change the text on the button while upload the file "please wait .." if anyone knows how to change it, would use the template.

Another question, you can store files only in dropbox? with the limit of the form I can only store one. I hope you can help me!

I'm not sure if I understand your query correctly. But, I see that you are using single upload field. This method allows you to upload only one file per field. If you want to allow multiple files to be uploaded, the option "Allow Multiple" to be enabled so that it also allows to upload files using drag and drop method and displays the message "Please wait" while the file is being uploaded along with the upload percentage.

By using this method, you can upload multiple files. Google Drive, Box.net apart from Dropbox are also supported to integrate with your JotForm.

Hope this information helps. Please let us know if you are looking for something different. We will be happy to help.

I want to change the text that appears while a file is uploaded. The send button text changes to "please wait .." I want to indicate otherwise. According believe is not possible.

If this is not possible, I created a "normal" form (the above form is a template for dropbox) and wanted to show the percentage of file upload. As I can show the upload process?

But could upload it to an ftp and display the percentage of that increase, but i don´t know how made it!

If you enable the 'Allow Multiple' option of the Upload field, you will see a progres % indicator when pre-uploading using the Upload field.

The upload progress indicator is NOT available/visible when using only the single upload option of the Upload field.

At the moment, there is no progress indicator that have this during the upload process. The only indicator that is most visible is the "Please wait..." message in the Submit button while upload is in progress. BUT it does upload properly to the FTP when completed.

It actually also shows in some browser like Chrome. You can see in the status bar below the browser while upload is in progress

Hope this help. Let us know if you need further assistance.
