May I also suggest checking the other method of Saving the session form here

    user guide: -How-to-Enable-Auto-Fill-Feature

It will require only 1 form to use. Instead of the 2 form requirement on the version -How-to-Save-Forms-to-Continue-Later

Please let us know if my suggestion can work for you or not.

    Thanks.

I tried both the 2 form version so the user gets their own link (and have to hit the "next" button to save that page) and changing the settings in the original form like you show above.  Neither has made it so that the information gets saved so the user can return at a later time after closing the browser to finish the form.

    Here is my main form:

    http://form.jotform.us/form/50336009659154

Here is the secondary form I created so the users would get their own link:

    http://form.jotform.us/form/50476311401140

Please help.  I really need users to be able to save and return to work on the form at a later time because of its length.  If it can be done using just the original form that would be great but I'm fine with having the 2 forms if absolutely necessary.

I've checked your forms and the URL that you were using on the first form was incorrect, instead of sessions it should say session.

And also for the second form you need to disable the autofill feature since you can't use both methods at the same time.

Also, you need to consider that if you want to use the autofill feature, then the first form won't be necessary and you'll need to complete the form using the same computer/browser.

If you have further questions, please let us know.
    Thank you.

I tried to just use the autofill feature but it didn't work.  I would prefer one form but none of these features seem to work for me.  Is there something else I need to do to get the autofill feature to work?  Or am I stuck using 2 forms after I correct the URL?

Also, if I have to use 2 forms just so the users can save their info and come back later, does that affect my submission count?  I'm currently using the free version which means I only have 100 monthly submissions available.

    Thanks for the help.

I tried to just use the autofill feature but it didn't work.  I would prefer one form but none of these features seem to work for me.

Let us try to resolve the issue for this. This feature should be working just fine. No other users were reporting to be having issue with this feature either.

Or am I stuck using 2 forms after I correct the URL?

As I have suggested form the start, you don't have to be stuck to the 2 form save session method.

So I cloned your main jotform http://www.jotform.us/form/50336009659154 and enabled the feature

You can test my cloned form here http://www.jotformpro.com/form/50486153654963

The autofill and save feature is working fine on my side/browser.

Please test my form. Let us know if the feature is still not working for you.

    Thanks.

Your cloned form worked for me.  Thank you.  What was I doing wrong?  Can you also tell me that if I do decide to use the 2 form option (my boss was considering it since the users would then be able to work on the application from multiple computers due to having their own personal link) if that would affect my submission count per month?

Again, thank you for your help.

if that would affect my submission count per month?

In a way it will affect because you will now be having 2 forms to submit. So, eventually the initial form (to get email link to user) will have more submission instance.

The autofill and saved session of your jotform http://www.jotform.us/form/50336009659154

     work for me as well.

make sure you are using its direct link http://www.jotform.us/form/50336009659154 and not the one from the email with session for it to work properly.

    --

As already mentioned by my colleague previously, the autofill method and 2 forms method will NOT work together.

If you want to use the 2 forms save session method you have to disable the autofill feature in the main form (or the form in the session link)

Please double check your setup for the -How-to-Save-Forms-to-Continue-Later . Make sure you follow the steps on the user guide accordingly. It should work.

Let us know if still not working.

    Thanks.
